Photography is being popular day by day and lots of people are attracted towards photography whether it is professionally or just as a hobby. Back in the good old days, photography was not choice of many people as we have right now. But technology changed everything and now with the popularity of digital camera, meaning of photography has been changed. People are more into it and they want to learn it more and more. Digital photography is another step of progress for people who love photography. It made life easier with new and advanced technology.
Digital technology removed the dark room from many photographer’s lab and put computer and software instead. Everything is digital now including your camera, picture you took and post-processing tools. Using post-processing tools like Capture NX2, it is much more easier to manipulate your photograph and tweak settings with color, contrast, sharpness or brightness to make your photographs look better.
But it’s not even easy as Pie. There are lots of techniques to be considered while shooting your photographs. Managing proper light condition is considered as one of the most difficult and important step to take good photographs. More advance your camera, more techniques you have to learn.
Nowadays camera comes with lots of modes, features, settings and you have to learn all these techniques to take good picture. People who use point and shoot camera, they don’t have to worry much as it is designed not to memorize many things while shooting. You just frame your subject and press shutter release button. That’s why it is called point and shoot, easy way to take photographs. But there is always trade off using point and shoot camera and that is quality of photo. If you are happy with whatever machine does for you then point and shoot is the best choice for you. But if you want to take control over machine and want to take photograph as you want, DSLR is right choice for you.
